Client gifting returns the best ROI when the gift is unexpected in timing and thoughtful in selection — not the predictable December hamper, but a genuine contract-close acknowledgement, a mid-year 'we noticed the work you did' gift, or a personal-moment recognition (new office, job move, industry award).

Tier one — transactional contract-close gifts ($40–80 per recipient): branded wine accessories set, quality leather notebook with embossed initials, premium pen in gift box, curated coffee or tea gift box. Delivered within a week of signature, with a handwritten personal note.

Tier two — retention and appreciation gifts ($80–180 per recipient): leather portfolio, premium boxed pen set, curated gift hamper, engraved crystal award, branded wine-gift box, or personalised whisky set. Delivered at natural client-year milestones (anniversary of engagement, annual planning cycle, major project completion).
