The THE BAVARIAN × SENSE2 STORY

Eight wet-wipe variations for one of Australia's loudest beer-hall brands.

The Brief

Hospitality merch is usually the throwaway part of the marketing mix — keychains, coasters, drink mats that get binned on the way out. The Bavarian asked us to engineer the opposite: take the cheapest piece in the room (a wet wipe) and turn it into the highest-engagement object on the table. We wrote and produced eight variants — 'WIPE IT GOOOOOD', 'DON'T WIPE THAT SMILE OFF YOUR FACE', 'IN CASE OF SAUCE EMERGENCY' — and watched diners pocket them as keepsakes.

The Approach

Our approach drew on three decades of branded merchandise production. With the brand creative supplied by The Bavarian (or their agency), we specified the substrate to match the brand's tactile signature — hospitality · humour-led · pocket keepsake — then matched the decoration technique to the substrate (not the other way around, which is where most promotional merchandise hospitality programmes go wrong). Print colours were proofed to the brand's reference palette. Packaging was specified in parallel with the product itself, because in the hospitality & beverage category the unboxing IS the brand encounter. Every component was sourced through Sense2's audited supply chain so the programme could ship into any hospitality & beverage environment without procurement friction.

The Outcome

The finished The Bavarian programme reads exactly as The Bavarian reads in market — considered, brand-led, on-tone. An eight-strong wipe capsule — humour-led, brand-confident, distributed across The Bavarian's national venue network.
